The Rule of Four

The Rule of Four

Author: Ian Caldwell, Dustin Thomason

Editor: The Dial Press

Year: 2004

Major disappointment.

I'm sorry, but perhaps I shouldn't haven read Dan Brown first before reading this one. But it just doesn't compare.

Not only was the plot lose, the characters mildly developed, worst of all-the center peice of the book-was never fully explained to excite any egarness in the readers to find out what happens at the end.

Throughout the book the center piece of the story was repeatedly held up high on a pedstal, being revered as one of the most important secret of the history for mankind. However, after giving us confusing clues here and there, the whole story was explained in a mere few pages in one conversation.

As I sat there finishing the pages, I still had no idea why it was so important for these characters to sacrafice their lives and their Princeton degree to decifer their mystery.

Too bad I bought it instead of taking it outta the library.
